There’s been almost a cult following around the “FemShep,” a group of players who choose more to play through the Mass Effect series as a female Commander Shepard. After all, the game allows you for full customization of your character, why shouldn’t you be able to save the universe as something slightly easier on the eyes?
It’s no secret that BioWare has taken an increased focus on promoting FemShep for Mass Effect 3, so much as to leave the fans to voting for the official default character model (seen above.) Now we’ve got a trailer showing off that girls can be just as badass as the guys can. Especially when they’re voice by Jennifer Hale.
Have a look below and let us know what you think.
Things I noticed? I enjoy Hale’s voice overs much more than Mark Meer does for the male version, but that may be simply because it’s a change of pace. Also, I am loving that blazing red hair that FemShep is sporting.
What say you, gamers? Will you play as FemShep?
