The announcement comes alongside details for World Update 6, improving the fidelity of Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. While the regions get a general facelift with higher-res maps and 3D cities, scenic landmarks such as Neuschwanstein Castle will receive special attention when the free update releases Sep. 7.

World Update 6 will also introduce Local Legends, a DLC program that adds historical planes from around the world digitally recreated down to the millimeter through the help of museums and archival aid. The Junkers JU-52 from Germany will be the inaugural plane in the new hangar.
