Yusuf Mehdi announced today during Microsoft’s E3 2013 press conference that a new, smaller, sleeker, and quieter model of the Xbox 360 — inspired by the look of the upcoming next-gen Xbox One — is available at retailers worldwide today.
Pricing for the next Xbox 360 was not announced during their E3 press conference.
Alongside the announcement of the smaller Xbox 360, Microsoft also revealed that Xbox Live Gold will be taking a page out of Sony’s PlayStation Plus playbook, and offering two free games each month starting July 1st and running until the launch of the Xbox One this November. The first two games coming free to Xbox Live Gold subscribers will be Halo 3 and Assassin’s Creed II.
Microsoft also noted at the E3 2013 press conference that the company plans to support the Xbox 360 for several more years, with the release of hundreds of new games, including; World of Tanks Xbox 360 Edition, Watch Dogs, and Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag.

[Update 2] Microsoft has confirmed that the next Xbox 360 model will not drop in price from the current “Slim” model. The 4GB version (without Kinect) will cost $199.99, a 250GB model is $299.99, and a 4GB model with Kinect is $299.99.
