It looks like Nintendo will have a rather large presence at Comic-Con this weekend, which is certainly great news for us gamers. They’ll be bringing a ton of new demos to the show, including titles from all of their major platforms, apart from the recently announced Wii U.
Attendees will be able to visit the House of Mario at their regular booth (#5135), but the real draw will be the Nintendo Gaming Lounge at the close-by Marriott Marquis & Marina hotel. It will house playable demos of many different 3DS titles, including:
Super Mario 3D
Kid Icarus Uprising
Mario Kart 3D
Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D
Shinobi
The Wii side of things will also be pretty interesting, containing playable portions of the following anticipated titles, plus more:
The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword
Rhythm Heaven
Fortune Street
This will mark the first time that Skyward Sword will be playable to the public!
Bring either your 3DS or DS to the convention for the Pokemon Black/White meet-up from 4-6pm on July 21. The Nintendo Lounge will also feature a large Pokedex 3D AR marker of Reshiram for fans to take pictures with, plus a gallery of over-sized augmented reality cards.
There will also be downloadable maps for Dragon Quest IX, as well as a playable demo of Dragon Quest Monsters Joker 2!
Comic-Con starts this weekend, officially taking place between the 22nd and 26th. It’s held in sunny San Diego, California.
