Organic Panic Will Bring Food Fights To The Xbox One And PlayStation 4 In March

I feel pretty confident in saying that most readers of this fine website are familiar with food fights. No, not the Charlie Sheen flick, the actual act of throwing scraps of food at friends, enemies and innocent bystanders. While these messy fights are common knowledge, what about the idea of foods actually fighting against each other? This is the crazy idea behind Organic Panic, developer Last Limb's debut effort that is headed to Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in March.

Funded through Kickstarter back in 2013, and currently in Steam Early Access on Windows PC, Organic Panic is a 2.5D platformer centered on the war between fruits and vegetables against processed meats and cheeses. Utilizing the studio’s DAFT (Destructible and Fluid Technology) engine, the title features fully destructible levels with dynamic liquids. Gamers will be able to manipulate the environment as they see fit in order to solve problems and advance.

The food-focused game will feature four distinct playable characters for gamers to utilize. The four different heroes to choose from include Cherry, Kiwi, Carrot and Coconut, and each one has their own elemental powers. Not sure how that makes sense, but hey, in the battle between good food and bad food, anything goes. The presumably long-running war will be staged across over 200 levels that will feature plenty of chaotic action and riddles to solve.

Besides the main storyline, Organic Panic will also feature a bevy of multiplayer options. You and up to three other friends can tackle the main missions together, or if you’re feeling a little competitive, face off in versus mode. Time Trial mode and online leaderboards are also slated to be included in the final package.
