February is upon us and for PlayStation Plus, that can mean only one thing; Sony is set to refresh the Instant Game Collection and introduce the latest batch of PS Plus freebies.
Though an untimely Amazon leak threatened to spoil the surprise earlier this morning, the Japanese platform-holder has officially confirmed that PS Plus subscribers will gain access to LittleBigPlanet 3 and Roll 7’s gleefully over-the-top shooter Not a Hero on PlayStation 4. Both of these titles and more will become available on the IGC from Tuesday, February 7th in North America and Europe, and you can find the full breakdown of this month’s PlayStation Plus lineup, below. As per Sony’s Cross-Buy scheme, the likes of Starwhal, TorqueL and Ninja Senki DX can be downloaded on multiple systems.
LittleBigPlanet 3 (PS4)
Not a Hero (PS4)
Ninja Senki DX (PS4, PS Vita)
TorqueL (PS4, PS Vita)
Starwhal (PS4, PS3)
Anna: Extended Edition (PS3)
In order to make room for the newcomers, January’s PS Plus lineup will make way on Tuesday, meaning there’s still time to grab last month’s offerings before they expire. Remember, you can simply add each title to your download queue to ensure you’ve redeemed the free purchase. January’s roster included Azkend 2: The World Beneath, Day of the Tentacle Remastered, The Swindle, This War of Mine: The Little Ones, BlazeRush and Acid Nerve’s tough-as-nails action game, Titan Souls.
The likes of LittleBigPlanet 3 and Not a Hero will make their way onto the Instant Game Collection on Tuesday, February 7th. News of February’s PlayStation Plus lineup comes only a few days after Microsoft detailed this month’s Games With Gold selection, which includes Project Cars and LucasArts’ cult favorite, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed.
