Those players looking forward to dipping into either Splatoon, Mario Party 10 or The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D (or indeed all three) will be pleased to note that Nintendo revealed release dates for the software trio during this morning’s Direct presentation.
First up we have Splatoon, the ink-based Wii U exclusive that will arrive on the publisher’s flagship console at some point in May. In it, players will be split into two teams of four before setting out on a mission to decorate the pixelated world with their own color of paint with one simple rule: the team that drapes the largest area in their colors, wins.
And today, Nintendo offered up some new details for the eclectic shooter, stating that the game will include a Destiny-esque hub world, providing users with a safe haven to interact with one another, buy fancy new weapons and apparel as well as organizing multiplayer matches.
As for Majora’s Mask 3D and Mario Party 10, it’s understood the latter title will become available for Wii U owners on March 20 in North America, when it will launch alongside a new batch of Amiibo figurines. This collection will include the likes of Mario, Luigi, Peach, Yoshi, Bowser and Toad.
Lastly, The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D will beckon players back to the doomed Termina when it launches on February 13. According to The Big N, those who wish to pre-order the remastered port can pick up the special edition, which bundles the game itself with a rather eye-catching Skull Kid figure.
