Sony has wasted no time in announcing the newcomers making their way to the PlayStation Plus Instant Game Collection for September. Representing the first month to factor in the community-centric Vote to Play feature, it turned out to be Ubisoft Reflections’ Grow Home that earned its place in the software offerings, rubbing shoulders with the likes of Super Time Force Ultra and Xeodrifter on PlayStation 4.
This trio will hit the IGC on September 1 in North America, along with Teslagrad, Twisted Metal and La Mulana EX on PlayStation Vita. Much like previous months, those titles that occupied PlayStation Plus slots in August will have to make way for this onslaught of new content, meaning that the following games will be taken off the Instant Game Collection next Tuesday. Best get downloading, then!
Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris (PS4)
Limbo (PS4)
Sound Shapes (PS4, PS3, PS Vita)
Stealth Inc 2: A Game of Clones (PS4, PS3, PS Vita)
CastleStorm Complete Edition (PS3, PS Vita)
God of War Ascension (PS3)
If you cast your vote for either Armello or Zombie Vikings – the other two titles that ran during the Vote to Play campaign – fear not, Sony has assured fans that each title will receive a 30% discount up until September 15.
It’s a relatively strong and diverse month for Sony’s premium service. As a twitch-based action platformer, Super Time Force Ultra – which can also be picked up on PlayStation Vita – is perfect for fans of the side-scroller. On the other hand, Twisted Metal is a blast from the past that celebrates vehicular mayhem in all of its glory, while Teslagrad is more puzzler than platformer, and it’ll be available on both PS4 and PS3.
Sony has confirmed that these latest PlayStation Plus offerings will become available to all on September 1.
