The Division‘s second expansion, Survival, launches this September, Ubisoft has announced as part of their E3 2016 conference. To coincide with the news, a chilling new cinematic trailer was shown, providing a few hints as to what new experiences will await players as they brave the blizzards of New York. If we didn’t know any better, it appears as if our SHD agents will be braving a Dark Zone-like area that leaves us vulnerable to attack through harsh conditions and ambushes.
The video description reads as follows:
In DLC Expansion II: Survival, SHD agents have run out of supplies in the middle of a harsh Manhattan winter and will have to survive as long as possible in a very hostile environment.
In addition to the above, Ubisoft confirmed that three special outfits are being made to existing The Division players to celebrate the company’s 30th birthday. Costumes themed after the Splinter Cell, Rainbow Six and Ghost Recon franchises will undoubtedly help your agent stand out from the crowd.
Before wrapping up, it was reiterated that The Division‘s Underground DLC will launch for Xbox One and Windows 10 on June 28 and on PlayStation 4 on August 2nd.
