During Bethesda’s E3 Press Conference tonight, the publisher debuted new footage from their upcoming card-game, The Elder Scrolls: Legends. The digital card game is currently in a closed beta and will launch in full later this year.
Designed to bring in players of all skill levels, The Elder Scrolls: Legends is a competitive card game that fully explores the series’ lore. Like any good card game, the title will allow players to build decks that best suit their play style. Developer Dire Wolf Digital is claiming that no two battles in the game will be the same, and going by the depth the franchise is known for, that could possibly be the case.
Little in-game footage of the title was showcased tonight, but the intro cinematic debuted did delve into the story mode featured here. Told by the moth priest known as Kellen, the campaign of the title will let players shape and change the history of The Elder Scrolls universe. For a competitive card game, this appears to be a pretty sizable campaign.
The Elder Scrolls: Legends is scheduled to hit Windows PC, iPad, iPhone, Mac and Android tablets later this year. For those interested in getting into the beta, you can check out the game’s official website for more information.
