Ubisoft kicked their E3 2015 conference off today with a brand new reveal for the follow-up to The Stick Of Truth. The game, a direct sequel to its predecessor, will be called South Park: The Fractured But Whole and will see the kids of South Park take up a new adventure as super heroes.
This time around, the boys will be members of Coon & Friends, taking on a dangerous threat and dragging the new kid along for the ride. The trailer showed off the progression from the last game, as well as introducing the story and typically crass humour that we’ve come to expect from the show.
After the trailer, South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone took to the stage to talk a little more about the way in which the game will build upon Stick Of Truth‘s story, announcing that there will be even more backstory revealed this time around.
South Park: The Fractured But Whole is being developed by Ubisoft’s own San Francisco studio this time, but will apparently retain the RPG and turn-based elements from the first game. No release date is yet known, but as soon as any more information appears about you can be sure that we’ll bring it to you.
