Popular Twitch streamer Low Tier God is once again banned on Twitch.
The mega-popular live streaming service is host to a huge number of burgeoning stars, as streamers like Low Tier God litter the platform with live streams of popular games, “day in the life” IRL streams, and a litany of other varied content. The platform is notorious for banning creators when they break its rules, however, even if the creators in question were unaware they were in violation. After Low Tier God received his second ban from the service in the last few months, his fans flocked to his defense and openly pondered what he did wrong this time. While some streamers receive bans for clear violations of Twitch rules, Low Tier God’s latest ban is a bit more of a mystery, and it’s leaving the creator’s viewers befuddled.
Low Tier God’s Twitch ban
Low Tier God’s last ban was only lifted around a month ago, so the popular creator’s fans are frustrated to once again lose access to his content. The Twitch streamer’s last ban on the platform began on April 28 and ended seven days later, on May 5, according to a site that tracks streamer bans, and his latest is likely to follow in a similar form.
But just what did the streamer do to get a ban in the first place? The latest ban came down on June 5, and Low Tier God’s fans have some theories about what prompted the action by Twitch.
In a Reddit thread announcing the latest ban, viewers pondered the culprit behind his suspension and came up with a few valid theories. While the comment section is predictably littered with plenty of jokes and false accusations, it seems that Low Tier God may have inadvertently showcased nudity in a video. While streaming to his followers, one fan claims he accidentally displayed a clip with clear nudity in it, and the ban coming down soon after indicates they may be connected.
Twitch draws a hard line when it comes to nudity and sexual content, as far too many streamers are well aware. A slew of female streamers received bans, over the years, after accidentally (and, in some cases, purposefully) flashing the camera or wearing clothes deemed unfit by the stickler of a platform.
There aren’t many other valid theories among Low Tier God’s fanbase, so it seems the inadvertent nudity is likely at fault. In comment sections for tweets, Reddit threads, and other social media postings about his ban, the creator’s fanbase is ardently calling for the suspension to end. Thankfully, the last ban only lasted a week, and it seems unlikely that the latest will be longer. Within around seven days, viewers can expect the popular creator to be back up and running.
