While we all wait for the final trailer for Spectre, Sony has released an action-packed TV spot today that’s sure to whet your appetite for the highly anticipated follow-up to Skyfall.
Whether Daniel Craig and director Sam Mendes will reteam for a third movie after Spectre remains to be seen (especially as the latter came very close to not returning for this one), but the actor revealed in a recent interview that he is expecting to reprise the role of James Bond at least one more time before calling it quits.
“I’m contracted for one more – but I’m not going to make predictions. I work myself to death. It’s getting harder. But such is life.”
In Spectre, a cryptic message from Bond’s past sends him on a trail to uncover a sinister organization. While M battles political forces to keep the secret service alive, Bond peels back the layers of deceit to reveal the terrible truth behind SPECTRE. Daniel Craig reprises the role of 007 for the fourth time in the movie, and Spectre is produced by Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli, from a script by John Logan and Neal Purvis & Robert Wade.
The movie is set to be released on October 26th in the UK and will reach North America a couple of weeks later. The Spectre cast also includes Naomie Harris Ben Wishaw, Rory Kinnear, Ralph Fiennes, Christoph Waltz, Monica Bellucci, David Bautista, Léa Seydoux and Andrew Scott.
