4) Geoff Johns
Recently, it was announced that comic book writer and TV and movie producer Geoff Johns had been upgraded from his previous role as Chief Creative Officer to the new President of DC Entertainment. The move puts him as the nearest equivalent DC has to Marvel’s Kevin Feige (a role he will share with Warner Bros. vice president Jon Berg). Previously, this was probably Zack Snyder.
Johns holding the reigns of the DC Extended Universe is definitely an exciting move for the future. Based on his previous work, we can bet that he will implement a lot of changes that people are asking for.
As head of DC comics, as well, Johns has spearheaded the movement to bring hope and optimism back to the DC universe, starting with the Rebith relaunch. Not to mention his fine work as an executive producer on the similarly brighter The CW TV shows (Arrow, The Flash). Given that, we can assume that Johns’ appointment will lead to a more hopeful DC Extended Universe, too.
