Since the release of this first trailer for Justice League, many have argued that it feels more like a Marvel movie than Man of Steel and Batman V Superman. That’s more than likely deliberate after the mixed response to both of those films, and while it could be argued that Warner Bros. is almost trying too hard here to assure us that they can be funny as well, the fact that the jokes all land is a very good sign.
Of course, it would be a shame is so much focus has been put on a lighter tone that Justice League loses the seriousness which actually helped those previous DC Comics adaptations stand out from the crowd, but the signs are currently pointing to Snyder finding a strong balance based on this preview.
