The Marvel Cinematic Universe’s first R-rated installment is poised to deliver the collaboration we’ve all been waiting for since the two A-listers first began their long-running social media battle, but there’s an air of d*ck-measuring to the two baiting each other while hitting the gym and buffing up those biceps.

Jackman may be almost a decade older than Reynolds at 54, but he’s clearly still got what it takes to get as ripped as he ever was during his iconic tenure as the anchor of 20th Century Fox’s X-Men universe. If there’s one person in Hollywood who knows how difficult it is to stay buff while Father Time lurks in the background, then it’s Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Even at 75, the former California governor keeps himself in great shape, so let’s hope Jackman takes it to heart that the Terminator legend approved of his most recent gym snap. It may have only been a simple 💪 in the comments section, but when you get the seal of approval direct from Schwarzenegger himself, then an emoji is worth well more than a thousand words.

The gauntlet has been laid down, and we’ll just have to wait and see how Reynolds continues to take the trolling to the next level as the start of production on Deadpool 3 edges ever closer.
