The first official poster for Avengers: Age Of Ultron debuted yesterday, packed to the rafters with goodies, baddies and some sneaky hints tucked away in the small print. In a follow-up drop this morning, Robert Downey Jr. posted the first – of what we can assume will be many – character posters to his Twitter. As one-sheets go, it’s a clear image featuring Downey Jr. himself striking a pose as Tony Stark.
You’ve been good so here’s a new #IronMan poster from @Avengers. & on the DL, big announcement in 8 days… #getexcited pic.twitter.com/AdB1tTib7K

As hinted by the actor, it looks like we’re in store for another major Marvel announcement in the next eight days. It’s uncertain what the studio plans to roll out – but we’ll take his word for it and get excited.
Regardless, the enigmatic caption hasn’t stopped early buzz generating, with a lot of talk suggesting that we’ll be delivered another character poster or perhaps a brand new trailer. If it’s a BIG announcement, does this mean we might even see a Spider-Man poster now that he’s joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe? We’ve not got long to wait until we find out.
Avengers: Age of Ultron will arrive in the U.K. on April 23, before it makes its U.S. debut on May 1, 2015.
