Marvel has been steadily unveiling pieces of an awesome concept art poster for its upcoming Avengers: Age of Ultron, which depict the titular superhero team battling valiantly against Ultron’s army of killer robots. Wednesday kicked the unveiling off with shots of Iron Man and Scarlet Witch brawling with the ‘bots, Thursday saw reveals for Captain America and Black Widow, then Marvel gave us Quicksilver, Vision and Hawkeye yesterday. Today, the studio has completed the truly incredible poster with cool shots of Thor and the Hulk helping to thin out Ultron’s numbers.
We’ve included those solo posters below, along with the completed piece, which is definitely worthy of hanging in any respectable geek cave. I can only imagine how much fanboys are going to shell out for this one when copies become limited. It’s a jaw-dropping battle scene in which all the Avengers and a few new additions find themselves locked in furious combat with Ultron’s army.
Avengers: Age of Ultron, which was directed by Avengers helmer Joss Whedon, hits theaters on May 1st, 2015. The film is going to be absolutely huge today at the Marvel Hall H panel, so keep your eyes on We Got This Covered for more exciting artwork, news and announcements (including maybe some comments on that fourth female role in the film, Ant-Man‘s latest setback and Joaquin Phoenix’s rumored involvement in the Doctor Strange movie). It’s going to be a geektastic day.
