If you’ve been gagging to re-watch Marvel’s space opera adventure, Guardians Of The Galaxy, in the comfort of your own home – do we have news for you. It won’t be long before you can recite the dialogue along with Rocket, Star-Lord, Gamora and of course, Groot, as Disney has announced the specifics of the home video release, which will be available on every format known to man. But that’s not the best part. Included as part of the special features will be an exclusive first look at Avengers: Age Of Ultron.
There will be a variety of formats available for the release, so you’ve got plenty of options when it comes to choosing how you wish to fully embrace the Guardians. Oddly enough, there isn’t a VHS issue, which I thought would be a neat throwback to Peter Quill’s 80s obsession and a cute bit of merchandising.
Take a look below at the specifications:
Available on Digital HD, Disney Movies Anywhere, 3D Blu-ray Combo Pack and Blu-ray:
- Never-Before-Seen Deleted Scenes
- Making-of Featurettes
- Exclusive Look at ‘Marvel’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron’
- Gag Reel
- Audio Commentary
Available on DVD:
- Exclusive Look at ‘Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron’
- Never-Before-Seen Deleted Scene
For those of you who weren’t at the San Diego Comic-Con this year, the chance to have a peek at Ultron will be most welcome. The only official ‘glimpse’ came at the end of Captain America: The Winter Soldier, with a brief scene showing Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver.
Guardians of the Galaxy will be available on 3D Blu-ray, Blu-ray, DVD, On-Demand and Standard HD on December 9, 2014, and in both Digital 3D and Digital HD formats on November 18. Just in time for Santa to bring you a copy.
Avengers: Age Of Ultron will be released in theatres on May 1st, 2015.
