We live in an age where anticipating the release of a trailer is almost as exciting as anticipating the release of a film. Certainly Avengers: Age of Ultron has had no difficulty in drumming up excitement, even with the release date still quite far away. While we still haven’t seen any footage from it just yet, the very first trailer for the highly anticipated sequel might be surfacing within the next few months.
According to Warner Bros. Russia (via Comic Book Movie), the first theatrical trailer for Avengers: Age of Ultron will be attached to the beginning of Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar, which hits theaters on November 7. With the added knowledge that many trailers are released online about a week in advance of their theatrical premieres, that means we might be getting our first official glimpse of the movie at the end of October.
Avengers: Age of Ultron sees our beloved heroes once more fighting for the future of the planet, this time when Tony Stark attempts to jump-start a peacekeeping program. The whole thing goes horribly wrong with the rise of Ultron, and it is up to the Avengers to save us all from a fate that’s far worse than global warming. Sometimes I wonder if the world would not be better off if Tony Stark never existed, though.
In addition to the excitement that the first trailer will bring, here is something a bit more current: a few stills of Chris Evans in his Captain America get-up, as he films in South Korea. Evans is looking good as always, having some fun posing provocatively on the hood of a car. Don’t you just love America?
Avengers: Age of Ultron will premiere on May 1, 2015. Until then, you can check out the set photos of Chris Evans below, and wait with bated breath for that first trailer at the end of October.
