Recently, we’ve been seeing a lot of excerpts from the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War artbook, Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War – The Art of the Movie, and with this latest batch, it seems that the stylishly imagery just keeps coming.
For starters, we’re getting a moody new imagining of the opening scene from the recent Marvel mega-hit, in which Thanos threatens Thor in order to get Loki to hand over the Space Stone. And speaking of villains, one illustration sees Ebony Maw bowing to his master while the Asgardian brothers watch from background. On top of that, we have an image of a short-haired Bucky Barnes wielding a less Vibranium-looking arm, and also a couple of pics of Tony Stark and Steve Rogers.
As well as these colorful pieces, we’ve previously observed concept art of Peter Parker, in which the web-slinger sports an array of Iron Spider costumes and fights some Outriders while he attempts to rescue Doctor Strange.
Speaking of alternate outfit designs, another pair we’ve been privy to already are the two pics of a more rugged, Nomad-esque Steve Rogers, who’s spent these last couple of years on the run for violating the Sokovia Accords. And last but not least, the back cover of this release is dedicated to the heroes who perished in the events of the MCU’s darkest movie to date, including Loki, Vision, and the various victims of Thanos’ dusting of the universe.
Overall, it’s a pretty sweet collection, and if you’d like to see more, then Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War – The Art of the Movie is due for release on November 6th. After that, you can expect to observe plenty of these characters in action once again when Avengers 4 hits theaters on May 3rd, 2019.
