We’re T-minus 12 days from the Blu-ray release of Avengers: Infinity War, and don’t we know all about it.
Now that Marvel’s event movie has made its digital debut, the Internet is awash with director’s commentary and spoiler-ridden clips designed to spotlight Infinity War‘s greatest moments. And in the case of Spider-Man’s last goodbye, its most heartbreaking.
Pull all of this together and you have a home video release with more than two hours’ worth of bonus content, as the following Blu-ray teaser confirms. So whether it’s behind the scenes featurettes of Star-Lord going up against Thanos or a deleted scene featuring the Mad Titan and Gamora’s family issues, the Avengers: Infinity War Blu-ray makes us want to relive the magic all over again. And we’ll be able to do so from Tuesday, August 14th.
It even includes a brief snippet from Kevin Feige himself, who admits that there’s “something awesome about seeing these heroes interact with one another for the very first time.” And we couldn’t agree more.
From Rocket and Thor to Iron Man and Doctor Strange – the two Sherlocks of the Marvel Cinematic Universe – Infinity War was crammed full of little character moments that helped create a rich and exciting story, one that we could enjoy 10 times over as we watch Earth’s Mightiest Heroes mount one last defense against the oncoming invasion.
Spoilers: they wind up on the losing side – but don’t worry! Avengers 4 is still around the corner and with it, a chance to hit the reset button so that big-name heroes like Black Panther and Spider-Man may return before their inevitable sequels.
