Earlier today, Marvel released a very cool behind the scenes video for Avengers: Infinity War presented by Robert Downey Jr., Chris Pratt and Tom Holland. As you may have noticed, it also featured some concept art for the Joe and Anthony Russo-helmed movie, and you can take a closer look at that in the gallery above.
What does it tell us about Avengers: Infinity War? For starters, we see Rocket Raccoon fighting alongside Thor, a piece of imagery which promises to be downright incredible in live-action. However, take a closer look and you’ll notice that the God of Thunder is no longer wielding Mjolnir; instead, it looks a lot more like his axe Jarnbjorn. That could be an indication that the hammer will be destroyed in Thor: Ragnarok later this year.
Tony Stark, meanwhile, can be seen looking at some more Iron Man suits, a sign perhaps that the new armour he’ll be sporting in Spider-Man: Homecoming will be for that movie only. Finally, we also get two looks at Josh Brolin’s Thanos. First up is him appearing very relaxed in clothing which should instantly remind you of the end of Infinity Gauntlet when a depowered Mad Titan is banished to a far away planet. The next piece of artwork depicts Thanos adding one of the Infinity Stones to his Gauntlet.
So, lots to talk about then, but with so many other releases to promote in 2017, chances are this is the last we’ll see from Avengers: Infinity War for quite a while. Thankfully, Marvel left us with much to dig into and if you’ve already begun speculating, be sure to share your thoughts with us down below!
