If you happen to follow Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson on any form of social media, you’ll know the wrestler-turned-movie star tends to post his updates from Iron Paradise, otherwise known as his custom-built gym, regardless of whether they’re centered on Rampage, Jumanji or his latest Under Armor commercial. And it seems they’ve even inspired Chris Hemsworth himself.
Via Twitter, Marvel’s God of Thunder raised a glass dumbbell to the fanbase after Avengers: Infinity War became the highest-grossing superhero movie of all time – besting the previous record held by Joss Whedon’s Avengers – along with its historic debut in China.
Indeed, after three weeks (and change) of absolute dominance, Infinity War‘s total cume has reached a staggering $1.675 billion worldwide, placing it just ahead of Jurassic World ($1.672 billion) on the official box office charts. And while $2 billion now seems to be a little out of reach, Joe and Anthony Russo’s epic crossover has still made history in its own right.
And it’s that triumph that Chris Hemsworth hopes to honor in his social media post. Pay attention to the actor’s verbiage, too, as the line about cranking out many more Marvel movies has sparked rumors that Hemsworth is game for another MCU appearance beyond Avengers 4.
Per Twitter:
Avengers now the highest grossing super hero movie of all time, I’ll say again thank you thank you thank you everyone for supporting this little community theatre production 😘🙏💪🤙😁⚡️✌️@marvel @avengers @TheRock pic.twitter.com/FNdBFUbnxp

Being the social media powerhouse that he is, it wasn’t long before Dwayne Johnson posted a response, asking that Hemsworth capture his gym videos while naked from the waist do–wait a second…
First of all, of you’re truly going to take a page outta my book when shooting gym videos, then you’d be naked from the waist down. Never mind. TMI.
A HUGE congrats to you brotha. You just made history! Very proud and happy for you and the team!! #Avengers #Marvel 💪🏾 https://t.co/cxNlPDAMxa— Dwayne Johnson (@TheRock) May 16, 2018
