Everyone may be busy thinking about Wonder Woman right now (not to mention its chances of box office success), but with Spider-Man: Homecoming right around the corner, we’ll no doubt begin to see much, much more from the Marvel Studios reboot over the next few weeks.
For the time being, though, we have an awesome new magazine cover to keep us going. As you can see below, it features the wall-crawler leaping into action in a pose sure to be familiar to fans of the comic book. Look behind him, though, and you’ll spot both Avengers Tower and Iron Man looming in the distance.
The fact that iconic superhero and location are featured should hardly come as a surprise, as both have factored heavily into Spider-Man: Homecoming‘s marketing campaign so far. That’s because the fact that this movie takes place in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is arguably its biggest draw. After all, Peter Parker in a high school setting is nothing new, even if Spider-Man: Homecoming will put a greater focus on it. The Vulture is obviously a villain we haven’t seen before, but this movie definitely needs a hook of sorts following the disappointment that was The Amazing Spider-Man 2.
Just how much the Avengers and Iron Man will factor into Spider-Man: Homecoming remains to be seen, but it looks like it will be a significant amount, which should definitely please fans.
