Is there still any interest in a feature film continuation of Entourage? Warner Bros. will find out early next month when it sends Ari (Jeremy Piven), Vince (Adrien Grenier) and the rest of the gang into theaters for their first big-screen adventure. In hopes of raising the pic’s profile, the marketing department has unleashed a slew of high-resolution images, revealing that the boys are still up to their old tricks.
The movie picks up with Ari having become the head of a major studio. Meanwhile, Vince is working on an adaptation of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, which will serve as his directorial debut in Hollywood.
Here’s the official synopsis:
Movie star Vincent Chase (Grenier), together with his boys, Eric (Connolly), Turtle (Ferrara) and Johnny (Dillon), are back…and back in business with super agent-turned-studio head Ari Gold (Piven). Some of their ambitions have changed, but the bond between them remains strong as they navigate the capricious and often cutthroat world of Hollywood.
The main appeal of the Entourage movie for most of us has got to be the beefed-up cast. In the saddle for the project are Kevin Connolly, Kevin Dillon and Jerry Ferrara, along with Billy Bob Thornton, Scott Mescudi, Jessica Alba, Liam Neeson, Haley Joel Osment, Emmanuelle Chiriqui, Emily Ratajkowski, Rhonda Rousey, Tom Brady, Calvin Harris, Armie Hammer, Rex Lee, T.I., Mark Wahlberg, Ed O’Neill, David Spade, Kelsey Grammer and many, many more.
Entourage lands on June 3.
