Safe House is a film that is shaping up awfully nice. Starring Ryan Reynolds and Denzel Washington, the film has just added to their cast. Joining the film are a few notable actors including Liam Cunningham, Brendan Gleeson, Robert Patrick and Sam Shepard. Daniel Espinosa will be directing off a David Guggenheim script. The plot will revolve around Reynolds and Washington. Reynolds is a government agent, who after surviving an attack on one safe house, has to move his high profile criminal, Washington, to another one. Of course, it’s easier said than done and it’s not exactly an easy trip. It sure sounds good to me.Washington and Reynolds in the lead roles has me very excited. Washington is a fantastic actor who never gives a bad performance and despite all the Ryan Reynolds haters out there, I think he has matured into a respectable actor. I enjoyed Buried more than I thought I would and I’m really looking forward to Green Lantern. As for the supporting cast, it’s also looking great. I’m really happy about the addition of Gleeson. He’s a dependable guy and has given some great performances in the past, especially in In Bruges.
Really can’t wait to see more on this title. What do you think? Looking good so far?
