Bryan Cranston is currently on a roll. With an upcoming slate of projects that includes films like Argo, Total Recall and Rock Of Ages, among others, the rising star has now added another high profile film to his resume. Cranston will appear in Marc Forster‘s World War Z, according to THR. The actor will have a “small but flashy” role in the film, although the exact part he’ll play is not known as of yet.
World War Z is “set in the aftermath of an undead apocalypse which has wiped out much of the world’s population,” Brad Pitt, Mireille Enos and James Badge Dale will be joining Cranston in the film, which is now shooting.
2012 is going to be a massive year for Cranston, with the actor set to receive a ton of exposure. Will he find the same success in film that he has found on television with AMC’s Breaking Bad? I wouldn’t doubt it. Cranston is very talented and has a bright future ahead of him. Although not a household name just yet, once 2012 is over, there won’t be many moviegoers left unfamiliar with his name.
