Currently filming in New York is Darren Aronofsky’s Noah, a film that has a whole heap of anticipation surrounding it. For one, it’s a Darren Aronofsky film. Then there’s the fact that is has an all-star cast, boasting names like Russell Crowe, Jennifer Connelly and Emma Watson. But perhaps the most interesting thing about the film is that it will tell the epic Biblical story of Noah’s ark.
The hugely ambitious project certainly carries a lot of promise with it and from everything we’ve seen so far, whether it be the ark itself or the snakes that are on board, it looks like we’re in for a treat. Today, we get a better look at the film with a new collection of set photos featuring its three stars: Crowe, Connelly and Watson.
They don’t show off a whole lot but we do get to see the actors in their costumes, including a couple great shots of Russell Crowe as the titular character.
Co-starring Logan Lerman, Douglas Booth, Ray Winstone, Anthony Hopkins and Kevin Durand, Noah opens March 28, 2014.
