With just 25 days to go until the release of Avengers: Endgame, Chris Hemsworth has shared a new video announcing that his extensive press tour is officially underway.
After joking that he’s on a plane with Robert Downey Jr., the Thor actor says that he’s off to the US to promote the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War sequel. After that, the star claims he’ll be headed to London, before moving on to China, presumably to hype up the film’s early release.
As Hemsworth heads off to his first event, director Joe Russo has already made appearances in India, where he offered an update on this month’s pic. According to the Infinity War co-director, his next feature is still in need of some last-minute edits. But before you take this comment as a red flag, bear in mind that the filmmaker evidently feels he still has time to do press, so presumably there’s not too much work left to be done.

As for Hemsworth, this might well be the last media tour he ever does for an MCU flick, since there’s a good chance that the new film will serve as Thor’s final outing in the franchise. Either way, fans are hoping that the God of Thunder can at least get his revenge on Thanos before he leaves, and succeed where he famously failed in his previous film.
While the movie’s promotional footage haven’t given us a huge amount of Thor, the latest trailer at least offered a quick exchange between Hemsworth’s character and Captain Marvel. The brief moment was enough to get some fans shipping the pair, but we’ll find out what’s really in store for Thor and his friends when Avengers: Endgame hits theaters on April 26th.
