Following up on last week’s icy tease, Sony Pictures has revealed a flurry of behind the scene images for Spectre that see the cast and crew posing against a snowy backdrop.
Specifically, that line-up includes Daniel Craig, Léa Seydoux and Guardians of the Galaxy star Dave Bautista, who are seen posing atop the Austrian Alps. According to the official James Bond Twitter feed, the actors are currently filming in Sölden — a popular tourist attraction and skiing resort — where production will run throughout the course of February. If speculation is to be believed, Craig and co. are to take advantage of the cable cars and glacier road to film an action scene — the pre-credit sequence, perhaps?
Whatever the outcome, we know that Spectre (Special Executive for Counter-intelligence, Terrorism, Revenge and Extortion) will orbit around a cryptic message from Bond’s past. It’s an arc that will see him confront the titular and elusive organization which will likely herald the introduction of Christoph Waltz’s villain, Oberhauser.
With Waltz, Seydoux, Bautista and Craig already accounted for, the casting list for Spectre will also bring together Ben Whishaw, Naomie Harris, Ralph Fiennes, Monica Bellucci, Rory Kinnear and Sherlock star Andrew Scott. Along with Sölden, we understand that filming locations for the 24th installment will include London, Rome, Mexico City, Tangier, Sölden and Obertilliach.
Spectre is still a ways away from gracing the silver screen, with Sam Mendes’ sequel scheduled to arrive on November 6, 2015. For now, you can glimpse the globe-trotting adventures of Daniel Craig and co. in the gallery below.
