With talk of Deadpool 2 seriously starting to heat up now, it's only appropriate to explore some of the character's story arcs that deserve to be on the silver screen. From his surprisingly tragic romance with Death to fighting an evil version of himself, the Merc with a Mouth has an abundance of source material that would make for cinematic gold.

Everything is more awesome with zombies, and Deadpool is definitely no exception. Featuring violence and comedy in spades, this storyline has the potential to be pure cinematic gold as well as a fresh look at the superhero genre.

With a story by Cullen Bunn, who has a strong history of writing the Merc with a Mouth, a film adaptation of this comic book series would not only be exciting, but with an experienced writer behind the source material, it’s practically guaranteed to be a hit. And, should it be a success (with the combination of Reynolds’ stellar acting, zombies and the inevitable gore, it’s safe to assume it would be), it could pave the way for other Marvel Zombies productions.
