‘Deadpool 3’ could be set to add another ‘X-Men’ veteran after a tease sends the rumor mill into overdrive

A blatant tease, or simply a coincidence that looks too good to be true?

Cameras are officially rolling on Deadpool 3, and it already feels very much like a Marvel Cinematic Universe sequel given the sheer volume of familiar faces who’ve been drafted back into the fold for Wade Wilson’s long-awaited introduction into the biggest franchise in the business.

In fact, there have only been two fresh additions to the ensemble, with Emma Corrin and Matthew Macfadyen set to make their debuts in Kevin Feige’s superhero sandbox, with everybody else revealed so far having played at least a small part in one of the previous Deadpool flicks, which in Hugh Jackman’s case means the constant ribbing he took from the titular antihero.

Morena Baccarin’s Vanessa, Karan Soni’s Dopinder, Leslie Uggams’ Blind Al, Brianna Hildebrand’s Negasonic Teenage Warhead, Shioli Kutsuna’s Yukio, and Stefan Kapičić’s Colossus, and Rob Delaney’s Peter have all signed on the dotted line, but a major tease from Halle Berry has set tongues wagging all across the internet.

As well as an ominous caption that reads “patience takes practice,” it’s well worth noting that the Academy Award winner is sporting a hairdo that’s highly reminiscent of the one she wore in X-Men: Days of Future Past, which marked the last time audiences saw her as Storm.

Of course, it could all mean nothing in the grand scheme of things, but surely it can’t be a coincidence that Berry has decided to return to her mutant stylings right around the exact same time Deadpool 3 has finally gotten underway. Either that, or we’re all being trolled.
