Warning: The following article contains spoilers for Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.
The third film in the Ant-Man trilogy is finally here with the newest release in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. This entry has received a mixed reaction, fairing better with audiences than it has critically, and there might be a reason. Quantumania is one of the weirdest movies in the MCU so far, following Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) and the rest of the Ant-Man family into the depths of the Quantum Realm.
One of the things that made the film a little weirder than your average Marvel movie was the introduction of certain citizens in the Quantum Realm. They came in all different shapes and sizes, each with their own distinct characteristics and gimmicks. But because they are each only in a few scenes with some characters only appearing for a few seconds, you might be wondering what their names are. Let’s take a look at some of the beings that were in the Quantum Realm and tell you if we know their names.
Who are the Quantum Realm characters from Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania?
Some of the citizens of the Quantum Realm have more of a humanoid appearance, such as Lord Krylar (Bill Murray), Jentorra (Katy O’Brian), and Quaz (William Jackson Harper). But, there are other citizens who are more alien-like, and they interact with the main characters so they do indeed have names. However, there are only three who were large enough to get their names in the credits.
The first is Veb, the goop of slime played by David Dastmalchian. Veb is the character that produces the sludge that Scott drinks when he comes to the Quantum Realm, the one that renders the Quantum language understandable for humans. Another Freedom Fighter is Xolum, the large metallic-looking creature that can fire a beam out of its head. Xolum is played by James Cutler and they are obsessed with torture.
The last of our Quantum Realm creatures is the infamous Broccoli Man, played by Grahame Fox. He is one of the beings Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) remarks upon when first arriving in the Quantum Realm. Broccoli Man is obviously made of broccoli. So there you have it, those are all the creatures in the Quantum Realm. Of course, there are hundreds of ants as well, but they weren’t named. Well, they probably developed their own ant language, so even if we did know their names, we probably couldn’t pronounce them.
You can catch Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania in theaters now.
