If you’re planning on seeing the latest Transformers movie this weekend, you may want to know whether or not it’s worth staying in your seat once those credits start rolling. After all, you wouldn’t want to miss any vital information that may come into play in the inevitable sequels.
It has become the norm for major blockbusters to feature end credit scenes nowadays, and Rise of the Beasts is no different. The film has just a little bit more to give to those devoted enough to stay until the lights come up, but just how important is that scene to the future of Transformers?
The franchise has been going strong for over 15 years now, ever since the fighting robots first dominated the big screen with the Michael Bay-helmed blockbuster in 2007, so much so that we’re beginning to wonder if it’ll ever end. The latest installments look to set up a new trilogy with Transformers 8 already in the works, and all three will center around the Beast Wars storyline that fans have been begging to see for years.
Unfortunately for fans, the end credits scene doesn’t really give anything away in regards to the future. It’s a pretty bog standard, non-consequential addition, but if you still want to insist on waiting and seeing it for yourself, you won’t have to wait too long. The scene appears just after the main cast names, so at least you don’t have to sit through the entire credits.
There’s only one additional scene, so you don’t have to worry about waiting until the very end for something extra. Once it’s over, you’re free to leave the cinema safe in the knowledge that you’ve seen all there is to see; whether it was worth waiting for or not is up to you to decide.
