Dramatic New Banner For Snow White And The Huntsman

Since Tarsem Singh‘s Mirror Mirror heated up the competition for 2012’s best Snow White movie last week, it’s no surprise that Rupert SandersSnow White and the Huntsman team has stepped up their game with the release of this dramatic new banner.

Kristen Stewart puts an edgy spin on the fairest of them all, playing a warrior-like version of the princess who teams up with her would-be murderer (Chris Hemsworth), to take down her evil stepmother, the Queen (Charlize Theron). The story is told perfectly through the banner, courtesy of Indie Wire, which features Stewart in a bright forest, with Hemsworth in the shadows beside her and Theron creeping behind in total (and scary) darkness.

I’m not a big Kristen Stewart fan, but she looks lovely in the banner. I’m hoping she can shed her stiff, angry-looking demeanor, but from what we’ve seen of the film so far that doesn’t seem promising.

Check out the full banner below and be sure to let us know what you think.
