Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves is an action-adventure film filled with comedy, emotions, and high stakes. At the same time, it pays homage to the popular tabletop game it’s named after, Dungeons & Dragons. Throughout the film, we see this group of thieves and misfits stop evil wizards from taking over the world due to their mistakes in the past. And in true D&D fashion, antics ensue. From the get-go, this was not going to be like any ordinary high-fantasy flick.
But what happened at the end of the movie? Did our underdog adventurers manage to save the realm? Or were they forever punished for their crimes, especially due to their history? Here is everything you need to know about the ending of Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves.

Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves ending, explained
The ending of Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves had our heroes overcoming their flaws, doubts, and temptations, in order to save the realm from the Red Wizards, who plan to create an army using the citizens under their control. Red Wizard Sofina was defeated and Forge Fitzwilliam was arrested for his crimes. In turn, the old Lord of Neverwinter had his life restored and deemed our the party as “heroes of the realm.”
While our heroes celebrated, things were not looking so good for Forge. He tried to smooth talk his way out of prison, just like Edgin at the start of the film. But unlike our bard who was granted an early release, Forge was denied his freedom, which led to the conman attempting to escape in a similar fashion to Edgin and Holga. Fortunately, the prison was prepared for a similar situation to occur and bricked up the window, preventing his exit.
Honor Among Thieves ended in a way that gave our heroes the ending they deserve. Meanwhile, those that backstabbed them faced justice. It’s an underdog story set in a high-fantasy world. But at the same time, it was told in a similar way as if one were to play D&D with a group of friends.
