This simple design features the Mad Titan’s Infinity Gauntlet making the all-important finger-snap that Marvel fans have been talking about ever since, while the Empire logo turns to dust above it. Also viewable is the newsstand artwork, which offers a more generic image of some of the main characters from 2018’s biggest release, along with a little corner bubble for Tom Cruise to ride his bike in. Interestingly, the pictured heroes seem to mostly be those who survived Thanos’ purging of the universe, with the only confirmed exception being T’Challa. But given how big a cultural phenomenon Black Panther was in its own right this year, the shout out seems warranted.

Speaking of which, with Black Panther 2 confirmed to be in the works, it’s pretty clear that we haven’t seen the last of Chadwick Boseman’s character, and the same likely goes for the rest of the heroes we saw turn to dust. And though it remains to be seen how the upcoming Avengers 4 will reverse the effects of the snap, the fact that the subsequent Spider-Man: Far From Home is confirmed to follow on from the events of the Infinity War sequel indicates that Marvel Studios won’t just be relying on prequels to revisit its dusted characters.

Still, with a full year between the release of Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers 4, Disney have sure given the fans a lot of time to twist in the wind before this cliffhanger gets resolved on May 3rd, 2019.
