Eternals was a divisive movie, but like anything owned by Disney, audiences will soon be getting more of it.
Director Chloé Zhao recently posted on Instagram and confirmed a commentary track, a Marvel Studios Assembled documentary (similar to ones already available for much of the Phase Four slate), and further bonus features will be rolled out on the streaming service beginning in March.
These features are already part of the digital package for those who took the plunge and purchased the movie as soon as it became available, with Eternals additionally coming to DVD and Blu-ray in physical form on February 15.
We’ll be interested to see if the bonus content reignited the debate over the merits of Eternals, which went down a storm with fans, but still ranks as the worst-reviewed installment in Marvel Cinematic Universe history on both Rotten Tomatoes and CinemaScore.
The cosmic blockbuster is already the number one movie on Disney Plus, fans just need to wait and see if the sequel they’re desperate for is forthcoming or not, especially when Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings already has a second installment in the works.
