Played wonderfully by Joseph Gordon-Levitt, we watch as Snowden becomes one of the NSA’s top analysts, which leads to his moral and ethical lines being blurred, as he witnesses what really goes on behind the scenes at one of the world’s most powerful organizations.

At the recent press day for Snowden in Los Angeles, we sat down with Scott Eastwood, who plays a fellow NSA co-worker that Snowden reported to during his time working for the agency in Hawaii, which is where he stole the classified documents from.

During our exclusive interview, the actor spoke about his reaction when he first heard about Edward Snowden and what he did, what it was like working with Oliver Stone, how he got into character and more.

Hear what Eastwood has to say in the video above and be sure to catch Snowden when it hits theatres on September 16th!
