But, during a day that will have him wheeling and dealing with team managers and owners, Sonny will also have to face up to his past and the legacy his father left behind.

In addition to that, he must also decide where his relationship with fellow colleague Ali (Jennifer Garner) is going now that she’s pregnant with his child, figure out how to placate the team’s head coach, Vince Penn (Denis Leary), deal with his mother Barb (Ellen Burstyn), who wants to spread her husband’s ashes on the football field, take an endless number of calls from potential players and their agents, and try to not let down the team’s owner, Harvey Molina (Frank Langella). Suffice to say, this day is going to be a life changing one for Sonny.

The press junket for Draft Day was held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Los Angeles, California last week and while there we landed an exclusive interview with the film’s cast: Costner, Garner, Pence, Tom Welling, Terry Crews and Arian Foster. They spoke about what drew them to the project, the research they did for their roles, what makes the NFL Draft Day so special and much more.

Check it out below and be sure to catch Draft Day when it opens in theatres this Friday!
