If you’re looking for the perfect movie to take your date to on Valentine’s Day, then you might want to check out About Last Night. The romantic comedy is a remake of the 1986 film of the same name, which was also a remake (of David Mamet’s 1974 play Sexual Perversity in Chicago). It tells the story of two new couples who enter “sexually-charged” relationships, only to find that it’s much harder to sustain what they have once the leave the bedroom and enter the real world.

Thanks to some excellent chemistry from its cast members and an often witty script, About Last Night works quite well. Not only is it relatable and laugh out loud funny, but the film does away with most of the genre’s common tropes and actually gives us something that feels fresh and enjoyable.

Recently, at the LA press day, we spoke to About Last Night‘s four leading actors: Kevin Hart, Michael Ealy, Regina Hall and Joy Bryant. Among other things, they discussed how technology has changed relationships, what the experience was like on set and Kevin’s never-ending energy.

Check it all out in the video interview below and be sure to catch About Last Night as it’s now playing in theatres!
