MTV has confirmed plans to unveil the very first trailer for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them during Sunday’s Movie Awards ceremony. It’ll take place at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT on April 10.

Also starring Gemma Chan, Carmen Ejogo, Jon Voight, Katherine Waterston, Ezra Miller, Colin Farrell and Ron Perlman, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them isn’t the only feature film poised to step into the limelight on Sunday evening, with Chris Evans also ready to showcase a new peek at next month’s Captain America: Civil War.
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, representing the first chapter of a newfound trilogy at Warner Bros., has been pegged to arrive on November 18. Check back to We Got This Covered on Sunday, April 10 when we’ll have full coverage of the film’s first trailer.
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them opens in 1926 as Newt Scamander has just completed a global excursion to find and document an extraordinary array of magical creatures. Arriving in New York for a brief stopover, he might have come and gone without incident…were it not for a No-Maj (American for Muggle) named Jacob, a misplaced magical case, and the escape of some of Newt’s fantastic beasts, which could spell trouble for both the wizarding and No-Maj worlds.
