The Incredible Cast Of The Grand Budapest Hotel Breaks Down The Story In New Featurette

There's no denying that Wes Anderson is one of the most unique and interesting directors working today. He continually delivers fresh, bold and flat-out wacky films and his latest, The Grand Budapest Hotel, is no exception. In fact, it looks like his most over-the-top and elaborate outing yet. The film also sports what may be his biggest and most impressive cast, boasting names like Ralph Fiennes, Bill Murray, Edward Norton, Saorise Ronan, Jude Law, Owen Wilson, Tilda Swinton, Adrien Brody, Harvey Keitel, Jeff Goldblum, F. Murray Abraham, and Willem Dafoe.

We’ve already seen several trailers for the film, highlighting the key players and giving us a glimpse of the story. Today though, a new featurette released by Fox Searchlight puts both of those things together as we see the cast and crew in action as well as interviews from several of the key players, including Anderson himself.

Check it out below:

This is our most in-depth look yet at what the director has in store for us when the film hits theaters on March 7th. Though we’ve seen a few clips and images of these characters, we now have a better understanding of their roles in the ambitious crime caper. The film, of course, sports the whimsy and charm that we’ve come to expect from the director and as the cast points out in the featurette, he gets amazing actors to do things we’ve never seen them do before.

By the looks of it, as long as he’s able to meet our extremely high expectations (which early reviews say he has), Anderson could have another instant classic on his hands.
