Warner Bros. has released several new stills today from their upcoming sci-fi film, Gravity. Showcasing its stars George Clooney and Sandra Bullock, the images show off the relationship between the two characters as we see them interacting and working together in space. They capture what looks like a very atmospheric setting that will likely look beautiful on the big screen, as behind the camera is director Alfonso Cuarón, who is most well known for his fantastic 2006 film, Children of Men.
For Gravity, Cuarón will team up with frequent collaborator and Oscar-nominated cinematographer Emmanuel Lubezki. Together, the two will no doubt deliver a stunning visual experience, one that will likely be backed by two excellent performances and some jaw-dropping space-set sequences.
We’ve already seen some very impressive trailers for the film, most recently we got a look at the terrifying scene where Bullock’s character is sent spiralling out of control while on a routine mission in space and she frantically tries to grab onto anything she can. It’s truly chilling and scary to watch and I can’t wait to see how the final product turns out.
The film will be showing at the Toronto International Film Festival, which runs September 5th to September 15th. We’ll be in attendance so check back soon for our review.
