How did General Grievous die in ‘Star Wars?’

In a rather clever way, actually.

There were many villains introduced in the Star Wars universe. But perhaps one of the most interesting villains in the saga by far is General Grievous. He was a warlord and one could have mistaken him for being a droid at first glance due to the way he looked and moved.

Asides from his robotic appearance, he also is one of the few who could wield four lightsabers and was trained by Count Dooku to learn the Jedi arts. So in a way, he was a huge threat towards the Jedi since his master was a Sith Lord and had a reputation for being a Jedi hunter.

But like all Star Wars villains, there will be someone who will stop them in their tracks. And the same can be said of Grievous as his Jedi-hunting days eventually came to an end.

General Grievous’ death happened just days after the Battle of Coruscant. This warlord returned to Utapau in hiding, but his location was revealed by the republic. From there, he faced Obi-Wan Kenobi, and the two had an epic duel to the death. While Grievous was stronger and more offensive towards the Jedi master, Kenobi was able to disarm the cyborg to the point where it ended up becoming a battle of brute strength.

Since Grievous was a cyborg and not a droid, it meant that he still have some flesh in him. Kenobi was able to locate this weak spot of his, which left this warlord exposed during the fight. Kenobi was able to grab hold of a blaster after he lost his lightsaber and aim it at Grievous exposed organs, which led to him burning from the inside.

Grievous was a threat during the prequel era. He hunted Jedi, was trained by a Sith, and was pretty much a living weapon. Not to mention, he led an army of droids throughout the Clone Wars. He was someone not to be trifled with. And despite him not being a force user and reliant on technology during his battles, he was strong enough to endanger the lives of those in the Jedi council and it took a Jedi master to stop him in his tracks.
