As the internet continues to lose its mind in the absence of any official indication of when the first Avengers 4 trailer will be coming our way, we can at least be confident in saying that this teaser does indeed exist, and at least one person has already seen it.
That person is actor Tamer Karadağlı, who took to Twitter after completing the Turkish dub track for Tony Stark in this first set of footage. And while the expectations among fans are insanely high for the preview, Karadağlı has not only offered his assurance that the trailer itself is “awesome,” but has also predicted the movie is going to be “something special,” claiming that he got goosebumps from it. Or from what he’s seen of it so far, at least.
Here’s hoping that we’ll be feeling much the same when the trailer finally drops, which is looking less and less likely to be in the previously predicted month of November.
While the Marvel Studios team is remaining decidedly tight-lipped on the details of the Avengers: Infinity War follow-up, the cast has repeatedly insisted in the vaguest and most spoiler-free of terms that the feature will live up to expectations. Co-director Joe Russo, meanwhile, claimed in a recent Q&A that the movie’s stakes will be 100% higher than they were in Infinity War, and seeing how that film ended with half the universe dying, that’s not a claim to be taken lightly.
But going back to the trailer, the filmmaker also mentioned in the same Q&A that this unveiling “may or may not” be coming before the year’s out, but seeing how much Joe and his brother Anthony Russo love messing with their fans, we have more faith in Kevin Feige’s claim that the Avengers 4 teaser will be coming out before the end of 2018. Either way, we’ll find out if the film itself is worth all the hype when it hits theaters on May 3rd, 2019.
