Opening with one of It‘s final sequences, whereby the young Losers’ Club make a pact to come back to Derry if Pennywise ever returns, the promo then shows some behind-the-scenes clips of the characters riding through the town. We also get some typically effusive praise from Stephen King himself about how much audiences wanted to see more of the story, before director Andy Muschietti gives a quick rundown of why the Losers are reunited 27 years later.

We see perspectives from different members of the adult cast of It: Chapter Two as well, including Jessica Chastain and James McAvoy, and also a better look than the trailer gave us at Andy Bean’s adult Stanley Uris. From here the mix of existing material and new footage comes thick and fast, with just a few of the notable moments being McAvoy’s Bill sighting Georgie in the storm drain, and what appears to be some shots of the Losers’ Club final confrontation with It in the sewers.

Furthermore, we get to see some more glimpses of a reportedly very bloody sequence with Chastain’s Beverly, Bill on childhood bike Silver, and what could be the adults escaping from an exploding sewer. The footage also seems to confirm the speculation that Henry Bowers survived the first movie, and features a lot more of Bill Skarsgard’s Pennywise and his “craving for the Losers.”

Taken together, the promo only makes us more excited about the release of It: Chapter Two on September 6th. We also wouldn’t be surprised if this is just the beginning of what’s about to be a pretty big marketing push, so stay tuned in the coming weeks as the studio’s sure to bring us even more.
