DreamWorks continues to send out the RSVPs for its upcoming festive comedy Office Christmas Party, with Jamie Chung, Karan Soni and Da’Vine Joy Randolph being the latest additions to the ensemble.
First reported by The Wrap, no details were disclosed regarding their specific roles in the flick, though we do know they’ll be staging said party alongside Jennifer Aniston and Jason Bateman – the Horrible Bosses co-stars will anchor the office bash as the de-facto leads – X-Men: Apocalypse star Olivia Munn, T.J. Miller, Kate McKinnon, Randall Park and Mad Max: Fury Road breakout Abbey Lee.
Will Speck and Josh Gordon (Blades of Glory) are behind the lens, directing from a script pitched by Timothy Dowling. Incase it wasn’t readily apparent, Office Christmas Party centers on an end-of-year bash that quickly gets out of hand, as such festivities tend to do.
After working on the project during its formative years in development, screenwriters Scott Stuber and Guymon Casady will remain attached to the film in a producing capacity, opposite co-directors Will Speck and Josh Gordon.
It’s been a long time coming for DreamWorks’ workspace bash – close to six years at this point – but now that Office Christmas Party has cast the net far and wide to secure a stellar ensemble, look for Speck and Gordon’s feature to make its bow on December 9. Filming is already underway in Atlanta.
