Jason Bourne Featurette Has Matt Damon Discuss His Defining Role

Matt Damon reflects on his defining role in new featurette for Universal's franchise refresh, Jason Bourne.

In those years that followed, a one-two punch of Supremacy and Ultimatum secured Bourne’s status as one of the best action series of the 21st century, informing many of its genre contemporaries – Bond included – thanks to its blistering editing and smart storytelling. That’s according to Matt Damon himself, who reflects on his “defining” role via a new Jason Bourne featurette. In it, the series stalwart takes us behind the scenes of the actioner, before touching base on his working relationship with Paul Greengrass – a Bourne stalwart himself.

On board for the next chapter in Universal’s action series are newcomers Tommy Lee Jones and the seemingly omnipresent Alicia Vikander. They’ll be joined by Julia Stiles, Vincent Cassel, Ato Essandoh, Scott Shepherd and Riz Ahmed in undisclosed roles.
